Introduction

Japanese is the language currently being taught in Years 8, 9 and 10 at Belmont High School. 

 

Workbooks

All Year 8 students learn Japanese and use the Obento text and workbook. Workbooks cost $25 each and are used for the whole of Year 8 and in Year 9 if they continue with Japanese as an elective.  Please pay as soon as possible if your student is in Year 8 and contact us if there are any problems.

Year 8 students will be able to read and write simple Japanese script by the end of the year if they work hard in class and do their homework.
