Vocal Ensemble
The BHS Vocal Ensemble is a balanced Year 7 - Year 12 vocal group that caters for all voice types (S.A.T.B.)

Participation is by audition only and the repertoire is challenging and enjoyable for capable singers.

The ensemble aims to extend students' singing and choral skills and widen their repertoire knowledge and appreciation of a range of musical styles.

The conductor/accompanist is Mrs Susan Johnson who is highly qualified and has a large amount of experience in vocal work.

The ensemble performs at school concerts, special occasions, community eistedfords and festivals.

Choir

The BHS Choir has been developed to provide choral opportunity for all Year 7 - Year 10 students who enjoy singing.

The repertoire incorporates contemporary styles of music and includes students' choice.

The conductor/accompanist is Mrs Susan Johnson who is highly qualified and has a large amount of experience in vocal work.

The ensemble rehearses on Thursday afternoons.

Boys Vocal Group

The BHS Boys Vocal Group is open to Years 7 - 12 boys who like to sing.

Repertoire is specifically chosen to reflect boys' interests and styles.

Older singers mentor younger singers in weekly lunchtime rehearsals.

The director/accompanist is Mrs Susan Johnson who is highly qualified and has a large amount of experience in vocal work.
