Open Rugby League team Report
I am so proud of our boys' effort today as we participated in the University Shield competition for the first time in quite a few years. In round 1 we had a good win against Narara Valley (10-4) to start our campaign. In round 2 we played BWSC and were beaten 2 tries to 1, showing plenty of resolve against a much bigger opposition. Rd 3 vs Gorokan HS was a tough encounter and very physical, ending in a 4-4 draw. We got rolled by Terrigal HS in the final round, as we had run out of energy and troops by that stage.
The effort and courage shown by our whole squad was great to see and bodes well for the future. It was a pleasure spending the day with these young men. (Proud coach - Mr Riley)
